Who we are: Reflections Dramatic Productions is an independent Christian drama club completely operated by volunteer parents with students as cast and crew. Reflections Productions, LLC was created in 2023 to manage the productions of the Reflections Dramatic Productions drama club.
Our Purpose: It is our hope that this program will allow a greater number of families to be able to come together in our common goals of using drama and speech as an effective outlet for our Christian students as they use their talents for the Lord and to educate them in the skills needed to become well-rounded young adults and future Christian leaders in our homes, our churches, and our communities.
Mission Statement: I Peter 4:10-11 says, "As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen."
The goals of this drama club include several objectives, all of which are firmly founded on Scriptural principles of conduct and purpose.
1. Since our first goal is to be able to draw others to Christ through encouragement and personal witness, all members of the drama club are expected to have a personal relationship with the Lord through salvation by faith in Jesus Christ and a desire toward spiritual growth through a regular walk with Him in prayer, Bible reading, and regular church attendance and participation. All members are expected to share godly, Christian beliefs and worldview based on God's Word. All new members who have not previously worked with our directors on a previous project will be asked to complete a brief interview with our staff before participating in a new project.
2. As Christians, we must always rely on God's Word to direct everything we do, and as such, we will always strive to point others to Christ through all aspects of our work together, during all practices, performances, and group-wide activities.
3. As a secondary goal of Reflections, we desire to educate students in many areas that working in theater gives opportunity including dramatic and oral interpretation, public speaking, set design and construction, promotions, stage management, lighting, sound, costume design and construction, and makeup design. However, our goal is also to instruct our students in certain life skills through experience that comes from working in theater and drama. Such areas include teamwork, leadership, mentorship, communications, public relations, and Christian outreach.
